ACME member testimonials

Paul Lewis
Group Senior Vice President Head of Human Resources Operations, ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd

I think the role of ACME is very important. I think both my company and INSEAD get something important out of these meetings. As a business school, INSEAD has the opportunity to connect with potential companies and we, as outside businesses, feel we have a chance to influence INSEAD’s business choices. It gives all attendees the opportunity to network and share ideas.

Dennis Baltzley
Head of Leadership Development Shell Learning, Shell International NV

Shell has various links with INSEAD; we have a Board seat, a chair, a research line as well as a company specific executive programme held at INSEAD. It’s through these connections that I got involved in ACME. Shell and INSEAD have a very strong relationship.

The interaction between the companies and INSEAD is extremely valuable and the opportunity to network is vital. Together, both sides are able to work together to improve programmes and policies within the business school and foresee future needs and trends within management education.

Patrick Demoucelle,
MBA 93J, Partner, Bain & Co Benelux

The role of ACME within INSEAD is very clear to me and can be summarised in two parts. Firstly, we are an advisory board in the sense that we provide guidance to INSEAD. As outside consultants from the business world, we can give external insights which staff within INSEAD might not perceive. Secondly, the ACME members represent their industries and return to work having learnt something from INSEAD, able to understand better the world of the potential MBA employee.
